On the morning of 25th Jan., 2024, the signing and delivery ceremony of a 12,500DWT MPC built by Sanfu Shipbuilding for a German shipowner was held at Sanfu Heavy Industry Group Co.Ltd. The delivery of the vessel marked the perfect conclusion of the project of nine 12,500DWT MPC built by Sanfu Shipbuilding for the shipowner.
The ship has a length of 147.00m, a length between davits of 140.00m, a beam of 22.80m, a depth of 11.55m, a design draught of 7.50m, a maximum deadweight of 12,410 tons, a design speed of 15 knots, and is entered into LR Classification Society.
The project vessel is designed with an openable cargo hold to meet the demand for loading ultra-high cargoes, such as oversized cranes, statues and steel structures. Vessel performance monitoring system was installed to optimize the fuel consumption and sailing speed by recording the fuel consumption and making timely improvements and adjustments. The perfect completion of this project series has established SF ship's leading advantage and stable market popularity in the field of multi-purpose vessels.
Following the successful delivery of this project, Sanfu Shipbuilding will continue to build a new type of 11,000-ton MPC for the German shipowner, which has been jointly developed by both parties. Sanfu Shipbuilding will Strengthen cooperation with shipowners to build better quality ships for shipowners.
